[Reporter Lu Xianxiu/New Taipei Report] When Mayor Xie Guoliang of Keelung met with legislator Cai Shiji a few days ago, Xie Guoliang asked Cai Shiji to coordinate with the Taiwan Railway Bureau to add a direct train from Keelung to Nangang from 6 am to 9 am. Cai Shiji Service Office pointed out that Taiwan Railway The Bureau stated that the usage of the western trunk line is saturated during the period from 6:00 am to 9:00 am, so at present, only the Keelung-Nangang direct train at 7:34 am can be maintained.

The Cai Adaptation Service Office pointed out that the capacity of the route between Qidu and Taipei during the commuting period from 6:00 am to 9:00 am has been saturated, and no more trains can be added.

If the existing frequency reduction stops are changed to direct trains from Keelung to Nangang, it may affect the rights and interests of passengers in the Keelung area (Badu, Qidu) and New Taipei area (Xizhi, Xiike).

The Taiwan Railway Bureau pointed out that there are 109 direct trains departing from Keelung at 7:34 to Ziqiang (directly to Taipei after stopping at Badu in the middle, and the journey time is 35 minutes). Will do my best to maintain.

Legislator Cai Shiji said that due to operational and scheduling considerations, Taiwan Railways can only maintain the 109 Ziqiang trains at 7:34 at present. Taiwan Railways pointed out that the western trunk line and the eastern trunk line intersect at Badu, and the current shift adjustment will affect Keelung. He respects the professional judgment of the Taiwan Railway Bureau for the rights and interests of people in the region and New Taipei City. However, the demand for moving from Keelung to Taipei is high, and it is quite large during the peak commuting hours. For the part of the international express bus, make full use of the 62 expressway to connect National Highway No. 1 and National Highway No. 3 to relieve passengers from Keelung to Nangang. He believes that the Keelung City Government can also make more plans in this direction.

In addition, legislator Cai Shishi recently received a statement from the head of Zhuang Yuchao, Dehouli, Renai District, Keelung City. Taiwan Railway can carry out repairs.

Lin Junxue, secretary of Cai Shiji Service Office, visited the site today with the Taiwan Railway Bureau, City Councilor Zheng Wenting Service Office, and Village Chief Zhuang Yuchao.

If the outer wall continues to be mottled and dropped, people are bound to be injured. He hopes that Taiwan Railway will strengthen the improvement of the appearance and environment of Sankeng Station within three months. Clean and maintain public safety.

Taiwan Railways stated that the safety of stations and vehicles has been the focus of Taiwan Railways' reforms in recent years. They are also worried about pedestrians being injured when passing by, and they will file for national compensation and other matters, so they will speed up the speed of repairs and improvements.
