The second summit meeting of the European Political Union will be held in Moldova.

APA reports that the next meeting of the European Political Union will be held on June 1 in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

"The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen peace and protect the common interests of Europe," said Charles Michel, President of the Council of the European Union.

It should be noted that the President of Moldova, Maya Sandu, announced that the invitations to the 2nd summit meeting of the European Political Union will be distributed from today.

"On June 1, we will receive 47 heads of state, government and EU institutions in Chisinau. We look forward to seeing everyone in Moldova."

It should be recalled that the first summit meeting was held in Prague in October.
