The engineering military units are starting to accept citizens who wish to voluntarily join the active military service.

According to the information provided to APA by the Ministry of Defense, military officers who have at least a general secondary education, have completed their statutory military service, and are under the age of 30 will be admitted to the admission commission operating at the Training and Education Center of the Azerbaijan Army from January 16 to February 4, 2023. they can apply.

Citizens who have applied for admission to the "training course for active military servicemen" are sent by the admission commission to the relevant medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense for the purpose of determining their suitability for military service.

According to the decision of the Military Medical Commissions, persons deemed suitable for military service are admitted to the entrance exams.

Candidates who have successfully passed the examinations conducted to study their physical fitness, general knowledge level, thinking ability, professional interests, communication, leadership and decision-making skills, as well as personal-psychological and other qualities are admitted to the course.

A three-year contract is signed with those who successfully complete the course, and they are appointed to appropriate positions in engineering military units according to their qualifications.

When applying to the admissions committee, candidates must submit the following documents:

- application for admission to the course (to the chairman of the admissions committee);

- personally written biography (in 1 handwritten copy, 2 printed copies);

- identity card from the place of service (work or education);

- a notarized copy of the education document (1 copy);

- a notarized copy of the birth certificate (1 copy);

- a notarized copy of the identity card (1 copy);

- a notarized copy of the marriage certificate (if married, 1 copy);

- notarized copies of children's birth certificates (in case of children, 1 copy);

- certificate of family structure and place of residence from the housing department or local executive authorities (in 1 copy);

- 4 color photographs (without headgear, full size, 2 3x4 cm and 2 4.5x6 cm);

- a certificate from the polyclinic where he is registered (about whether he applied for skin-venereal, tuberculosis, mental-nerve, narcological and infectious diseases in the last 5 (five) years);

- a notarized copy of all pages of the military ticket (in 1 copy).

Application Time: From 16 January 2023 to 4 February 2023 every day (except Sundays) from 09:00 to 18:00.

Note: Military servicemen who have been released from active military service in accordance with paragraph "e" of Article 156 of the Regulation "On Transfer of Military Service" (due to service incompatibility) and military officials who have been convicted regardless of the payment of their convictions are requested not to apply for admission to the course.
