[Reporter Huang Mingtang/Taitung Report] The south exit of the Daqingshui Tunnel at 159.3 km of the Suhua Highway on Taiwan’s 9th Line collapsed late last night, impacting the import and export of some materials, agricultural and cultural products in Taidong. Starbucks has posted an announcement that there is no snack supply today. Ji's pineapple Sakyamuni can only be transferred to Beishang Beinong Auction Market through Kaohsiung.

Starbucks Zhonghua store in Taitung posted a notice at the door early this morning: "Due to a landslide in the middle of the shipment, the pastry cannot be delivered today."

Most of the guests who come to the door today can only drink coffee alone.

The clerk explained to the customer that coffee can only be served normally today, and there are only some pastries left over from yesterday in the snack cabinet, which should be available normally tomorrow.

It is understood that the cakes of Starbucks in Taitung are delivered directly from the north at midnight every day. Affected by the collapse of the Suhua Highway in Hualien, they were frustrated halfway. At present, they have been deployed to deliver from the south route to Taitung, and the supply of cakes will resume tomorrow.

In addition to Starbucks, other industries that rely on Suhua to send fresh supplies should also be affected.

At present, the pineapple custard apples, which are in full bloom, must all go northward from the South Road and then the expressway.

As for the import of vegetables and fruits, the Taitung Fruit and Vegetable Market said that they all came from Kaohsiung and were not affected.

Starbucks Taitung branch will stop serving pastries today.
