The Russian occupiers began another wave of mobilization on January 9 in the occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular in Alchevsk, Luhansk Region.

This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 12.

In order to replenish its losses, the Russian army does not stop mobilizing men, in particular in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

Thus, in the city of Alchevsk, the beginning of another wave of mobilization was recorded from January 9, 2023.

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian intelligence reported that the FSB of Russia issued an order on January 9 to restrict the departure of conscripts, in particular those with limited fitness for service.

In particular, according to military expert Oleg Zhdanov, in Russia, those citizens who have alimony, utility bills, taxes, and mortgage debts have been banned from crossing the border to leave.

In addition, intelligence reported that on January 15, a new wave of mobilization will be announced in the Russian Federation: they plan to recruit up to 500,000 people to the army in order to throw them into the offensive against Ukraine.
