The United States and its allies are discussing new sanctions against Russia, intending to impose a price limit on oil products.

APA reports with reference to TASS that "The Wall Street Journal" wrote about it.

It was noted that officials of the US Finance Ministry are holding meetings in Europe this week.

They discuss the details of restrictive measures against oil products from the Russian Federation.

The restrictions should come into effect on February 5.

The publication emphasizes that it is planned to introduce two price limits for Russian oil products: one will affect high-value export goods, especially diesel fuel, and the other will affect low-value goods such as fuel oil.
