One person was injured after a road suddenly caved in at Shule Circle in Central Bengaluru on Thursday.

When the said person was going on his bike from Brigade Road, a portion of the road in the Central Business Area of ​​the city caved in. 

This accident happened near the area where tunnel boring work was being done for the metro construction work.

In respect of Phase 2 of the project in which work is underway to start Metro service from Nagawara to Gotigere (Red Line), a tunnel was dug 150 mts away from the accident site. 

The incident, which took place on Brigade Road near Shule Circle, was captured in the CCTV installed near the road.

Please tell that a large part of the road sank at the same time when the bike rider was passing through there.

He has suffered minor injuries in this accident. 

Significantly, two days ago, a woman and her child had died in the city due to a falling pillar.

Due to this accident, there was a lot of anger among the people against the Namma Metro and the state government.

The husband and daughter of the victim of the accident were also reported to be injured.

However, both of them are out of danger now. 

The doctors who treated the injured said, "Both had serious head injuries. We tried everything possible to save them. But they had already lost a lot of blood and their blood pressure was also very low."

The incident took place on Tuesday in Nagawara, Bengaluru.
