The Soledar-Bakhmut front remains the epicenter of the confrontations.

In Soledar itself, the streets of the city change hands every day between our army men and Russian Wagnerites.

The occupiers need this city to open the way to Bakhmut, which is being relentlessly destroyed by Russian artillery, TSN reports.

Russia is turning an industrial city that supplied salt to the whole of Ukraine into a scorched earth.

The fiercest battles for Soledar do not subside for a week.

The Wagnerites are trying to surround the city and drive the Ukrainian paratroopers out of it.

The enemy's target is not Soledar itself, but the road through it to the main city of this section of the front - Bakhmut.

The eastern and southern parts of Bakhmut are destroyed by enemy artillery to such an extent that the sky above the city seems to be on fire.

Enemy infantry storm Ukrainian positions in waves, several times a day.

A German tank destroyer repels attacks, and a Soviet self-propelled gun is in the nearby forest strip.

The outskirts of Bakhmut are under artillery fire, the explosions are so powerful that the ground trembles underfoot, even kilometers away from the epicenter.

The gunners of Prince Danylo Halytskyi's unit for restraining fire must first check the temperature of the projectile.

"We are measuring in order to make corrections for shooting.

Here you need to put the thermometer in the powder charge to know for sure", - the fighters explain.

There is a feeling that every few minutes a shot is heard from every forest lane.

Ammunition has significantly increased in our units, they are now not spared at all.

"We have more shells, more artillery cabins that can work counterbattery.

Partner high-precision artillery.

According to my experience, it is much easier for us artillerymen near Bakhmut," the unit commander assures.

Ammunition is not only from packages of foreign aid, there are projectiles that quite pleased the gunners.

"A novelty of the Ukrainian defense industry.

Ukraine has started to produce such scarce shells of caliber 152 millimeters, which the Russians are already looking for abroad.

And here are the first batches, already on the front line," the fighters say.

Fighters have to listen to the sky amid the artillery cannonades, the Russians also constantly launch attack drones.
