Bohdan Ziza's husband, who is imprisoned for a protest action in Yevpatoria, appeals to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi with a request to exchange him and other political prisoners of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by the human rights project created in support of Bohdan Ziza.

The so-called "law enforcement agencies" of Crimea imprisoned a boy on May 16, 2022 for a protest action in Crimea.

The occupation authorities accuse the boy of pouring

blue and yellow paint and trying to set fire to the facade of the Yevpatoria administration with Molotov cocktails

.

Russians consider it an act of terrorism.

He faces up to 15 years in prison.

"On the same day, the Crimea 24 channel published a video of his apology. On camera, he explained his actions as "disagreement with a special military operation conducted by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine" and confirmed that he had thrown a Molotov cocktail into the building. The video shows that Bohdan

was beaten, he is scared and says a prepared text

, "say the authors of the project.

Currently, Bohdan is charged with 4 articles of the criminal code of Russia, three of them for terrorism:

  • 205 part 1: Committed terrorist act.

  • 205 part 1: Threat of terrorist attack.

  • 205.2 part 2: Call to terrorism.

  • 214 part 2: Vandalism for political motives.

During the last court "session", which took place on January 10, Bohdan stated that he does not recognize the occupation court and considers the case entirely political.

"Bohdan is being transported to the territory of Russia from day to day, where another trial will take place, and later - a verdict. He faces

up to 15 years of imprisonment in a Russian prison

on charges of committing an act of terrorism. The conditions of detention in Russian prisons are terrible and dangerous for life. It is impossible to avoid a sentence, just as it is impossible to achieve fair justice in Russia," says the project's page.

We will remind you that the Russians have created two new private military companies in Crimea.
