In the

Russian Federation

, as of January 9, the departure of conscripts, in particular those with limited fitness for service, was restricted from leaving the country.

The Russian FSB has sent a corresponding order to all the border offices of the country, which are part of the FSBeshniki, informs the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"From January 9, 2023, from 00 hours 00 minutes, the border management of the FSB of Russia will ensure the restriction of travel outside the territory of the Russian Federation of citizens who have a conclusion on readiness for military service from categories "A", "B" and "B", - it is stated in text of the order.

The possibility of leaving the Russian Federation at all checkpoints in all directions is closed to such Russians.

At the same time, as follows from the text of the order, citizens of the "B" category, that is, those with limited fitness for military service, will also be prohibited from leaving.

Conscripts who belong to this category are exempted from conscription in peacetime, exempted from military fees and enrolled in the reserve.

By the way, the Russian Federation is preparing for a new wave of mobilization, focusing on the number, not the quality, of those mobilized.

Retired American lieutenant general Ben Godges believes that Russia needs this to

replenish personnel for the war in Ukraine.

Godges is convinced that Moscow wants to use "mobs" to prolong hostilities.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ogryzko expressed the opinion that the

second wave of mobilization in Russia will not help it gain a strategic advantage in the war,

but Vladimir Putin will try to fill Ukraine with the corpses of his soldiers.

Meanwhile, British military intelligence believes

Russia is preparing a desperate offensive in the next few weeks.

General Lord Richard Dunnatt, the former chief of the British General Staff, recalled that Moscow had conscripted another 200,000 to 300,000 Russians who would be thrown in for another attack.

Dunnatt remarked,

that it is unrealistic to hope for a negotiated settlement of the war, now or in the future, because

there is no common ground for negotiations

.

The decision must be made on the battlefield.
