The decision of the United States to train the Ukrainian military in the use of the Patriot missile system seems to confirm "Washington's actual participation" in the war in Ukraine.

"The decision of the US Department of Defense to organize exercises at Fort Sill in Oklahoma is another confirmation of Washington's actual participation in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of Nazi criminals from Kyiv," Antonov accused America.  

The Russian ambassador cited an article by the Washington Post, where columnists of the publication allegedly note that "

the training of the Ukrainian military in the United States means strengthening the participation of the United States in the confrontation." 

"The real goal of the administration is to do as much damage as possible to Russia on the battlefield, using Ukrainians as proxies," Antonov complains. 

Transfer of Patriot air defense system to Ukraine: what is known 

During Volodymyr Zelenskyi's visit to the United States, Biden was informed that Ukraine will receive a modern air defense system - the Patriot air defense system.

Later, Germany agreed to hand over another battery of these weapons.  

American media reported that 

Next week, the Ukrainian military will begin training on the Patriot anti-missile system in the United States.

The President's Office said that Patriot air defense systems in Ukraine will be on combat duty already in the middle of spring 2023. 

Ukraine will receive two batteries of Patriot air defense systems with 8 launchers each.
