The Ukrainian defenders of Soledar reported that the situation around the city on January 11 is extremely difficult, but controlled by the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who control all the frontiers.

A fighter with the call sign "Magyar" told about this in a video message.

Note that the video was recorded against the background of the sounds of explosions.

"That's exactly what Soledar sounds like. But I want to assure you that the situation is completely under control. It's ten o'clock in the morning. The situation has not improved for the sub*rivers in the evening.

. There are local point battles from time to time, it works on both sides artillery," Magyar described the situation.

The video also recorded the launch of the drone by Ukrainian defenders.

Aerial footage shows buildings on the outskirts of Soledar, many of which have been destroyed.

The drone also recorded movement between buildings of 13 Russian occupiers.

"Oh, 

That's how they move in such subversive groups. This is how the distribution of "worms" looks like on the outskirts of Soledar, in such groups. You yourself are witnesses of how groups of enemy troops move from house to house , occupying certain positions, gaining a foothold. This is a typical manner of passing through the city by dozens. In this case, 13 of them were trampled. But we have already recorded where they went and now we will take certain measures," said the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He also urged not to "get carried away" by false reports on the Internet about the capture of Soledar and spoke once again about the situation there.

. It is not clear how the local residents who remain in the city feel at the moment. But -

, no ultimatums about surrender or surrender and no rush in actions Armed Forces of Ukraine. Everything is consistent, everyone does their own thing and we keep the situation under control," Magyar summarized.

It will be recalled that the evening before, the advisor of the President's Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, reported that the occupiers had taken Soledar under semi-coverage, and the Bakhmut-Soledar highway was under fire control.

On the same evening, journalist Andrii Tsaplienko informed that the situation in Soledar is difficult, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not lost control over the city.

American analysts also reported that the enemy does not control Soledar.

If the Russian troops had captured the city, they still would not have been able to surround Bakhmut.   

The Armed Forces explained that the battle for Soledar is very important: there the defenders of Ukraine do not allow the enemy to break through the defenses, create an encirclement, go to the rear and into the operational space in order to move towards Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
