According to IMD, the capital Delhi has faced the third worst cold in the last 23 years.

Along with this, a warning has been issued by the department about increasing cold again from January 14.

Meteorologist RK Jenamani said that from January 3 to 9, cold wave was experienced for 5 consecutive days in Delhi.

During these five days, the minimum temperature was around 2 to 4 degrees.

According to the data available with us, it was the third coldest in 23 years.

Earlier in the year 2006, the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.9 degree Celsius.

At the same time, in the year 2013 also had to face severe cold.

Jenamani said that there will be light rain or drizzle in states like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western UP and North Rajasthan, as well as snowfall is expected in hilly areas.

He said that due to Western Disturbance, clouds and fresh moisture will also be seen.

The Western Disturbance is expected to hit the Western Himalayan region and the plain region during January 11 to 14.

This will cause clouds and fresh moisture will also come.

Due to the windy conditions, the dense fog conditions will further improve.

The situation is improving, but the worst situation remains in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
