Law enforcement agencies have evacuated the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York after a suspicious package was discovered.

According to APA, the press service of the police released information about this on Twitter.

The package was found in a suburban train car at the World Trade Center station in the Okulus building, the main transportation hub of the metropolis.

Apart from suburban trains, several subway lines also pass from here.

According to the NBC television company, as a result of the inspection by the minesweeper team, it was revealed that the suspicious package contains household appliances.
