SS Rajamouli's film RRR has created history at the 80th 'Golden Globe Awards 2023' held in Los Angeles, USA.

RRR's song 'Naatu Naatu' has won the Best Original Song award.

Fans and celebs are jubilant on this achievement.

Famous Telugu lyricist and singer Chandra Bose, who wrote this song, had a special conversation with NDTV.

Chandrabose told that it took him 17 months to blossom the song 'Naatu Naatu' of this film.

Composer MM Keeravani of 'Naatu Naatu' also became emotional while receiving the award for his song at the 'Golden Globe Awards'.

He congratulated the entire team from the stage.

This song was written in Telugu, but later it was composed for Hindi by writing it as 'Nacho Nacho'.

Chandrabose told NDTV, "I was asked by RRR director SS Rajamouli to write a song for a particular scene in the film. I wrote three songs and presented them. He liked 'Naatu Naatu' the best."

However, completing the song was not easy as it took a long time to perfect it.

Chandrabose said, "I wrote 90% of the songs in half a day. The director liked them at first sight. The remaining 10% took a year and 7 months to complete."

Chandrabose wrote the lyrics on the themes of rural traditions for this song picturized on Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.

"The song touches upon the themes of rural life, food and agriculture," he told NDTV.

Chandrabose has written 3600 songs till now.

Chandrabose's full name is Kanukuntla Subhash Chandrabose.

Chandrabose started his career as a lyricist with the 1995 film 'Taj Mahal'.

In his career of 27 years, he has written about 3600 songs for more than 850 films.

Chandrabose has received two State Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards and two SIIMA Awards as a lyricist.

Who sang the song 'Naatu Naatu'?

The song 'Naatu Naatu' is sung together by Rahul Sipliganj and Kaal Bhairava.

The lyrical version of this song was released on 10 November 2021.

However, Complete Video Song was released on April 11, 2022.

The Tamil version of the same song was released as 'Naatu Kothu', 'Halli Naatu' in Kannada, 'Karinthol' in Malayalam and 'Naacho Naacho' in the Hindi version.

In the video of the song, the film's lead actors Ramcharan Teja and Junior NTR have danced.

The choreography of the song is done by Prem Rakshit. 

Natu-natu was shot in Ukraine 

Tell me that a few months before the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, the song 'Natu-Natu' was shot in the Mariinsky Palace (Presidential Palace of Ukraine).

The song was shot in August, 2021.

The hook step of the song became so viral that people made many videos with it on social media. 

Within just 24 hours of the release of the song 'Naatu-Naatu', its Telugu version was viewed more than 17 million times.

It has also become the most watched song of Telugu.
