[Reporter Cai Sipei/Taipei Report] Wang Hongwei, the legislator of the third constituency by-election in Taipei City, once criticized Lin Zhijian, Mayor of Hsinchu City, for plagiarizing his master's thesis at National Taiwan University.

Today, Wang Hongwei criticized Chen for exaggerating to the extreme and preparing for entering the Legislative Yuan to question Chen Mingtong, but Wang then added, "Maybe Chen Mingtong stepped down again when I went in."

Wang Hongwei was interviewed this morning at the intersection of Bei'an Road and Chongshi Road, pointing out that Su Zhenchang, the Premier, may resign in the near future. It is a pity that some legislators cannot question Su Zhenchang, but the debts cannot be owed for the New Year. Su has lost popular support and resigned as soon as possible. It is right to step down.

Regarding former Vice President Chen Jianren's succession to the cabinet, Wang said that President Tsai Ing-wen has the power to appoint the cabinet, and former Taoyuan Mayor Zheng Wencan seems to be fighting for it. Regardless of whether the cabinet is Chen or Zheng, she still has to investigate when she enters the Legislative Yuan. What has not disappeared, including the flow of taxpayers’ money this year, the 3+11 outbreak of the epidemic, and the protection of high-end vaccines, should still be traced to the end, and should not disappear with Su’s resignation.

Chen Mingtong pointed out that Lin Zhijian's thesis plagiarism case was an unjust case during the negotiation between the ruling and opposition parties in the Legislative Yuan yesterday. When Wang heard the doubts today, Chen exaggerated beyond belief and called on National Taiwan University to deal with Chen Mingtong.

Wang said that yesterday, the government and the opposition were negotiating the budget of the National Security Bureau, but Chen Mingtong defended Lin Zhijian's grievances. She wanted to see how the DPP legislators would handle the budget of the National Security Bureau.

Wang Hongwei also said that she would make preparations for questioning Chen Mingtong after she entered the Legislative Yuan, but she then added, "Maybe Chen Mingtong resigned when I entered the court." Wang thinks it is very possible, and now Su Zhenchang has fled.
