A surprising incident has happened in Thane, adjacent to Mumbai.

With the intention of stealing in a jewelery shop, a man hired an adjacent shop and made a tunnel from his shop to the jewelery shop under the guise of furniture.

The thief also entered the jewelery shop through the tunnel, but suddenly the shopkeeper opened the shop for some work and came inside, caught the thief on sight and then beat him up and handed him over to the police.

The whole conspiracy of attempted theft and the incident of arresting the accused has been captured in the CCTV camera installed inside the shop.

It is being told that there is a shop named Bhavani Jewelers in Thane, adjacent to Mumbai.

A tunnel was dug in the guise of a furniture shop and on January 9, when most of the shops in the area are closed, the same day the accused planned to carry out the theft in the jewelery shop.

As per the plan, the accused entered the jewelery shop through the tunnel and had just started committing the theft, when the owner of the shop suddenly appeared.

In this case, Thane police has arrested the accused and is engaged in further investigation.
