[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Since Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine in February last year, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has been alerted.

In order to strengthen the security, the US military tanks have arrived at the port of the Netherlands one after another, and will then drive into Poland and Lithuania to strengthen the defense line of NATO's eastern flank.

Reuters reported that a large number of US military tanks began arriving at the port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands on Wednesday local time.

These tanks will then be shipped to Poland and Lithuania.

"About 1,250 pieces of military equipment will arrive at this port," said U.S. Colonel Robert Kellam, who oversaw the delivery.

The report mentioned that these military equipment include the main M1 Abrams tank of the US Army and the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

The latter is one of a new wave of U.S. military aid to Ukraine.

The report pointed out that before the US military equipment goes to the east, the Dutch army will help guard the port area where the vehicles are located.
