Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that the military exercises in Belarus, which will begin on January 16, have a flight-tactical nature.

Zhdanov said this during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

"This means that tactical aviation

will mainly work.

These are fighters, fighter-bombers, maybe front-line bombers. Second, our skies are closed for Russian aviation. As soon as they cross the airspace of Ukraine, they will be shot down at the same moment ", the expert believes.

As for the probability of an invasion of occupying troops from the side of Belarus by ground bully, Zhdanov believes that such a development of events is very low.

"There is no ground group, not even the one that existed before. On February 24, 45,000 Russian troops entered Ukraine

(from the side of Belarus - ed.).

There is no such group now. 10,000 will do nothing, and another 10,000 are scattered throughout Belarus. Training begins on January 16, Monday. In 6 days, Russia will not be able to gather 45,000 troops

(that's 4-5 divisions)

and transfer equipment and weapons. Today, this is unrealistic. An invasion through a land corridor is a very low probability. Of course , I don't rule it out," he noted.
