Russia will not be able to completely occupy the Donetsk region, since the aggressor has limited resources - few professional soldiers and ammunition.

Military and political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko told about this in an interview with TSN.ua.

"The chances of the Russians reaching the border of the Donetsk region are virtually zero. No one believed in their truce, and the Russians once again demonstrated that they cannot be trusted. The so-called "peace" of Russia is needed to replenish weapons, redeploy troops, etc. After each after the truce, they will start a new wave of offensives. Russia does not have the resources to completely occupy Donetsk region - they need ammunition and professional military personnel and command. Even near Bakhmut, the "Wagner" PMK is already fighting, and these are professional military personnel. Mobilized forces from Donetsk region are also fighting there and Luhansk regions. Professional military personnel are disappearing in Russia and so-called partially mobilized ones are appearing. The Russian Federation has many problems with logistics and ammunition. That is why they have been storming Bakhmut for six months," the expert believes.

Battle for Bakhmut and Soledar

Russian occupiers and mercenaries from the "Wagner" PMC have been storming the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut for almost six months.

After constant failures, the occupiers attacked Soledar with large forces, entered the city, but the ZSU stopped their advance.

The

Ministry of Defense

reported on the fierce battles for Soledar - the enemy is literally advancing on the corpses of their own soldiers, massively using artillery, volley fire systems and mortars, covering even their own soldiers with fire.

Currently, this is the most difficult section of the front.
