US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister

said that they are ready to continue to defend the common values of the countries and will continue to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

of the White House following the meeting of the two leaders in Mexico.
The message indicates that the leaders of the United States and Canada discussed cooperation in the field of defense and security in order to face the challenges of the 21st century.
The countries also agreed to promote collective security and prosperity, as well as support a rules-based international system.
"They reaffirmed their commitment to defend common values around the world, including supporting the people of Ukraine, who are defending themselves from Russia's brutal aggression," the statement said.
The US President also thanked the Prime Minister of Canada for the partnership in providing security, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
