On Monday, January 9, around 5:00 p.m., a triple traffic accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Duliby, Stryi District, Lviv Region, in which an ambulance, a bus and a truck collided.
An ambulance patient
died
as a result of the accident .
This was reported to the police of the Lviv region.
"As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Fiat Scudo ambulance driven by a 60-year-old man from Lviv, a BAZ bus driven by a 37-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Stryi district and a Volvo truck driven by a 48-year-old man a resident of Lutsk," the message says.

The passenger of the ambulance, an 80-year-old patient, a resident of the city of Skole, died at the scene of the injuries sustained as a result of the road accident.
In addition, a 47-year-old man from Lviv, a paramedic, was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment - deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
