The Russian invader bragged about how the occupying army committed genocide against Ukrainians in Lyman, Donetsk region. 

This is stated in the conversation of the occupier with his acquaintance, which was intercepted by the SBU. 

The Russian killer says that when they left Liman and Torsky, they staged a real genocide.

Russians shot people right in the middle of the street. 

"When we surrendered Lyman, they cut everyone there, the bastards ... They raped them, cut them there, shot them. In Lyman, in Torsky, they just went and shot everyone. All the men, who were younger, were taken there, and the women, here are these young people: they were all *beaten, cut, shot," the occupier confesses to war crimes.

The SBU has documented Russian criminals and is taking measures to punish the occupiers. 

"In general, the Security Service has opened more than 21,000 criminal proceedings based on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war by the Russian army," the message says. 

Liberation of Lyman and mass burials of tortured Ukrainians

On October 2, President Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had finished clearing the city of Lyman in the Donetsk region. On October 4, the flag of Ukraine was raised again over the de-occupied Lyman.

After the liberation of the Ukrainian Lyman, numerous mass graves were found in the city, in which the Russians buried tortured Ukrainians. 

Thus, about 110 trenches were discovered in the burial ground in Liman, including the graves of children.

The youngest child is only one year old.

It is known that the occupiers dug trenches and buried dead civilians there.

Pro-Ukrainian citizens were forced to collect bodies from the street.
