Two men died after their car plunged into the Zlatna Panega River on Saturday.
The ridiculous incident happened at dawn - a report of the tragedy in the village of Rumyantsevo was made on phone 112 around 5.40 am.
A car patrol of RU Lukovit was sent to the spot, which found that the 42-year-old man, a resident of the village, while driving an Audi car, left the traffic lane and overturned on the ceiling in the riverbed.
In the accident, the driver and his 33-year-old passenger died on the spot.
