Former UMC chairman Cao Xingcheng pointed out in an article today that the people of Taiwan have gone through the period of authoritarianism and established a democratic system.

[Reporter Chen Yufu/Taipei Report] Cao Xingcheng, former chairman of United Microelectronics, issued a document today pointing out that the CCP used to classify people such as "land, rich, right, anti, and bad" into the "five black categories". "Nine categories" is to make them pariahs.

The people of Taiwan have gone through the period of authoritarianism and established a democratic system. It is impossible for the people of Taiwan to go back to being citizens or obedient citizens.

So in the future, if unfortunately unified by the CCP, the people of Taiwan will either be killed or become pariahs.

Cao Xingcheng mentioned that after the direct election of the president in 1996, Taiwan has become a civil society where the sovereignty rests with the people, and the development of science and technology has also achieved quite good results.

As long as efforts are made to maintain democracy while strengthening rational and scientific education, Taiwan's future is limitless.

However, before heading towards a bright future, we still have a test, which is the CCP's insistence on annexing Taiwan.

Cao Xingcheng believes that the CCP is the living fossil of the agricultural empire, the underworld in the modern sense; it has always advocated lies and violence, and firmly opposes rationality and democracy.

Like all underworld organizations, the CCP wants to expand its sphere of influence endlessly, so it is determined to annex Taiwan.

They claim that "unification is the great cause of the nation," which is completely contrary to historical facts; in history, the unification wars of careerists have brought about national catastrophes.

The so-called "Taiwan has been China's territory since ancient times" is also nonsense and insults the IQ of normal people.

Cao Xingcheng criticized that after the establishment of the CCP for 30 years, it has continued to fight recklessly, resulting in the impoverishment of the society and the complete failure of governing the country.

In the past 30 years, due to the free world opening up its market and injecting capital, technology, and management, its economy has grown by leaps and bounds.

Some roosters brag that they crow the sun; the CCP also brags that China's economic growth is because its dictatorship is better than Western democracy, and it brags that the future world will "rise in the east and fall in the west."

As a result, the epidemic prevention process of the coronavirus has proved that its system ignores science and humanity, and is incapable of dealing with problems.

Cao Xingcheng pointed out that since the global fight against the epidemic for three years, the free world has now emerged from the epidemic.

China first closed down the city and cleared it. Later, when the epidemic got out of control, it completely ignored it and allowed the virus to spread rapidly.

Now the death toll in China has increased sharply, funeral parlors are full, and a large number of people have died and cannot be buried or cremated.

This tragic scene of corpses lying all over the ground is hardly reminiscent of "the great rejuvenation of the nation."

Regarding the issue of extending military service, Cao Xingcheng mentioned that people with a sense of ownership would think that it is only right and proper to defend one's family and country, and one can sacrifice one's life, so why do they care about being a soldier for a few more days?

But people with a strong sense of guests think, what does it matter to me to defend my home and country?

Whatever the CCP wants, just give it to him!

The extension of military service is to provoke the CCP, and "peace" should be the first priority.

According to his analysis, it can be seen that if Taiwan's democracy is to continue to move forward, it is very important to establish a citizen's sense of citizenship and a sense of ownership!

Only when citizens have a sense of mastery can a democratic society have a real foundation.

But it is also necessary to have a consistent concept and promote common values in order to unite everyone and generate powerful strength.

Consistent ideas, no need to be ingenious, as long as you understand and follow the spirit of the Enlightenment, and strive to practice.

Cao Xingcheng emphasized that in the past authoritarian era, many people were often brainwashed and fed with dogma, so they lacked the ability to think independently.

Even if these people get a doctorate from a famous foreign university, they still fail in logic.

For example, some people say that they want to safeguard the sovereignty of the Republic of China, but oppose Taiwan's independence. Their logic is contradictory; because sovereignty and independence are two sides of the same body and cannot be separated.

Cao Xingcheng said that if a region is not independent, it is a territory of another country.

Many things in the territories cannot be decided by themselves, and must be reported to the "sovereign country" for approval, so there is no "sovereignty", just like Hong Kong.

A country with sovereignty can decide everything by itself without the approval of other countries. This is the case with Taiwan.

Therefore, having sovereignty means that a country is independent; only when a country is independent can it enjoy sovereignty.

Cao criticized that for the sake of argument, those who oppose Taiwan's independence would divide the "Republic of China" and "Taiwan"; they said that what they are defending is the sovereignty of the Republic of China, while the sovereignty of the Republic of China covers the mainland, Mongolia, and Taiwan.

Therefore, according to the Constitution of the Republic of China, they believe that both sides of the strait belong to one China and oppose Taiwan's independence.

The "Republic of China with the mainland and Mongolia" has long since ceased to exist.

Refusing to recognize the independent status and sovereignty of the living "Republic of China Taiwan" for the sake of a country that does not exist is beyond imagination.

He mentioned that it has been more than 73 years since Taiwan and China have been divided into two countries and are not affiliated with each other. The CCP still insists on reunification, which is against the trend of civilization, which is really unreasonable.

In Taiwan, there are still some people from the past, obedient people, who agree with the unification, as if living in ancient time and space.

In order to strengthen internal unity, in addition to emphasizing rationality and logic, we also need to establish some common standards in terms of "truth, goodness, and beauty."

Cao said that what the CCP has thought, thought, done, and done in the past 100 years since the founding of the Communist Party of China almost completely runs counter to the common pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty since the Enlightenment.

Today, there are ideological confrontations inside Taiwan and the CCP's intentional annexation outside. The situation is grim.

But if we can all strengthen our sense of ownership, unite and devote ourselves to the modern pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, and take the initiative to contribute money, effort, and responsibility to improve the country, Taiwan will surely be able to weather the storm and welcome the light.
