This was reported by the police of the Ternopil region.

The husband of the murdered woman confessed to the crime.

He said that on January 7, around 19:00, a dispute arose between them due to domestic problems.

The quarrel ended with the pensioner hitting his wife several times on the head with an empty bottle.

The woman lost her balance and fell, and he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim several times.

After that, he went to his neighbors and told them about his act.

The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Code.

He was declared a suspect in accordance with Part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The question of choosing a preventive measure for Ternopil is being resolved.
