President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held four more stages of negotiations with partners.

Zelensky continued the diplomatic marathon, which began last year with a visit to Washington.

The president announced this during his evening address to Ukrainians on January 9.

"During this day - the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, the President of Slovenia, the Prime Minister of Portugal, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia. I spoke with all of them about increasing the defense support of our country, about the need to bring Russian aggression to defeat already this year, and about the implementation of all elements of our peace formula - from restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine to punishing terrorists for what they have done," he said.

Volodymyr Zelensky promised good news for Ukraine.

"And it is very important that we reach an agreement with our partners right now, on the eve of the new "Ramstein" and against the background of yet another brutal crime by the occupiers," the president noted.

As a reminder, the next, eighth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will be held on January 20, 2023.

The heads of defense departments of 50 countries will take part in the meeting.
