Relations between NATO and Russia will remain tense even after the end of the

war

in Ukraine, which was started by the Russian Federation under the leadership of Kremlin dictator Putin.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

According to him, the security situation in Europe has changed forever, and this should be recognized.

"The regime in Moscow wants another Europe. It wants to control neighboring countries, and it sees democracy and freedom as a threat. This puts Russia in a position of constant confrontation with the West. Therefore, even if this war ends, problems in our relations with Russia will remain," he said. Stoltenberg.

The Secretary General also emphasized that the victory of the Russian dictator in the war against Ukraine is dangerous not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire North Atlantic Alliance.

"If Putin wins in Ukraine, it will be a tragedy for Ukrainians. But it is also dangerous for us. The message to him and other authoritarian leaders will be that if they use military force, they will get what they want. It will make us more vulnerable." , - added Stoltenberg.

We will remind you that on January 9, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mykola Patrushev cynically declared in the style of Kremlin propaganda that

"Russia is not at war with Ukraine" and blamed NATO for everything.

Before that,

Medvedev threatened NATO.

This happened after the frigate with Zircon missiles was sent to the Atlantic.

Earlier,

the Secretary General of NATO predicted how long Russia's war against Ukraine would last and named the conditions for peace.
