Taoyuan City Zhongli District Office joins hands with Zhongli Renhai Palace to send warmth to the disadvantaged in the cold winter.

[Reporter Li Rongping/Taoyuan Report] The Lunar New Year is approaching. The Zhongli District Office of Taoyuan City and Zhongli Renhai Palace jointly organized a warming and caring event for low-income households in winter to care for the disadvantaged. Renhai Palace sponsored a gift of 2,000 yuan per household, Ping An Nian and the public office provide 300 yuan gift certificates and other items, hoping to take care of the disadvantaged families and enjoy the New Year with peace of mind.

In addition, in order to take care of the disadvantaged, the Ministry of Health and Welfare provides 5 doses of quick-screening agents to each person of listed low-income households, and actually cares for the disadvantaged.

The National Salvation Corps Taoyuan City Workers and Youth Team 4 called on 26 volunteers to help distribute gifts and items with practical actions. By caring for the cold winter and sending warmth before the New Year’s Day, we hope that more non-governmental organizations and the general public can join in the grand event , to provide more diverse warmth and care for disadvantaged families.

Li Riqiang, the mayor of Zhongli District, issued a certificate of appreciation to thank Renhai Palace for its enthusiasm for public welfare. The chairman of Renhai Palace, Wang Jiexi, directors, supervisors and other people participated in the event, and a total of 1,771 vulnerable families were cared for.
