Russia claims to have killed Ukrainian soldiers

New Delhi:

Russia has given a big statement regarding the war with Ukraine.

Russia's Defense Ministry has said in a statement that we have killed more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers in the attack carried out to take revenge from Ukraine in the past.

However,

Reuters

could not immediately confirm this claim of the Russian Defense Ministry.

There was no immediate response from Ukraine regarding this claim of Russia.

But the mayor of the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk said his city had been targeted.

He had earlier said on Facebook on Sunday that no one had been killed in the attack on various buildings in the city.

Russia's defense ministry has said the attack on buildings in Kramatorsk was revenge for a deadly Ukrainian attack on a Russian barracks in Makievka, part of the Donetsk region controlled by Moscow's military, earlier this year, which killed at least 89 soldiers .

The ministry said in a statement that it had used reliable intelligence to target Ukrainian troops.

Under this information we were told that more than 700 Ukrainian soldiers are kept in one hostel while more than 600 are kept in another.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that only after receiving this information, we launched a large number of missile attacks on these targets.

More than 600 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in these attacks.

In such a situation, if this claim of Russia is correct, then this is the biggest incident of killing Ukrainian soldiers since the invasion of Russia on February 24 last year.
