Firefighters from Sliven rescued a 60-year-old man who fell into a shaft.

After the accident, he was admitted to hospital in serious condition.

Yesterday morning, firefighters received a report of a man in distress in the city center.

"We found a person in a shaft with a depth of about 1.50 m inside, with an opening of this shaft about 50 cm. We widened the opening with shovels and got the victim out.

He was in an inadequate condition, he probably fell inside," said Inspector Plamen Dimov PBZN - Sliven, bTV reported.

The man spent at least two or three days in the shaft before neighbors heard his cries.

The victim has relatives who do not visit him

The man was admitted to the regional hospital, but after discharge he will be returned to the garage.
