The West provides military aid to Ukraine with caution and more for defense, so that dictator

Putin

and the Russian public cannot see the supply of defensive weapons as crossing the Kremlin's "red line."

However, Ukraine needs more weapons to win.

This is written by Bloomberg columnist Andreas Kluth, who covers European politics.

The author notes that in order to protect Ukraine and its people, Ukrainian soldiers must expel Russians from the Ukrainian regions illegally seized by Putin's army.

"Therefore, at the tactical level, the difference between defense and attack is collapsing. Ukraine cannot win, and Russia cannot lose, if the Ukrainians cannot stand up to the Russians," the article says.

In the author's opinion, for this reason, the USA, Germany and other allies should go further and supply Ukraine with the main battle tanks and other weapons that Kyiv is asking for.

But there is one condition - "the Ukrainians must not use any Western weapons for a counterattack against Russia itself, and probably must refrain from striking at all."

"

If the Kremlin, with or without Putin, really has a red line, such an invasion would be crossing it, as Russia's nuclear doctrine suggests. But other than that, there's probably no point in worrying so much about Putin's "red lines."

If they even exist , they'll most likely look like a cross between purple scribbles and shades of pink. With his KDBish mind, he could just be bluffing as he rattles off nukes and makes other diabolical threats. He wants to inspire fear, but he's

afraid of power

.

Let him worry about " "West's red lines instead,

" Kluth believes.

The columnist added that when Putin invaded Ukraine, he assumed he could conquer it while dividing, blackmailing and forcing the West to accept the outcome.

But compared to 2014, when the dictator illegally annexed the Ukrainian Crimea, now, he "apparently understands that he was wrong on all points."

"The best policy for Ukrainians is to fight him with everything they have, and for the West to give them everything they need to win," he concluded.

By the way, this week the USA, Germany and France took a big step forward in providing weapons to Ukraine - all three announced that they would provide new types of tanks.

The Americans will send combat armored vehicles called

Bradleys

.

The Germans will supply their equivalent called Marders.

The French will supply similar machines under the name AMX-10.

Previously, political technologist Taras Zahorodnii indicated that the bunker of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which was built in Soviet times, is approximately 300-400 meters long.

Instead,

the US has weapons that can destroy bunker structures up to 2,000 meters deep.
