— Are European values foreign to Belarusians?

- The main European values are freedom, human rights and the rule of law.

Propaganda identifies "European values" primarily with same-sex marriages.

Meanwhile, human rights are primarily about the right to life.

Think about whether you have such a right, if the door to your apartment is knocked out by a gobopik?

Where is the inviolability of the person or the presumption of innocence, where is the freedom of expression and choice, which are European values?

And where is the "sometimes not up to the law" rule by the armed regime...

— Why does the 70+ generation want unification not with Europe, but with Russia, which, behind Moscow and St. Petersburg, lives worse than Belarus?

- Life is worse, but it is "understandable".

And the thing is not only in the language.

They have never been to the West.

They do not have an attractive vision of European life, because they watch Russian TV.

They are not aware of themselves as Europeans, because they are not aware of themselves as Belarusians.

This is a rudiment of Russian slavery: "We have never lived well and we should not!"

And a conscious Belarusian person of 70+ immediately lacks everything - language, truth, freedom... And how will he want unification with Russia, if she, together with this regime, takes all of this away from him?

- So what is the Belarusian national idea anyway?

- It would seem that there are so many people, so many opinions, books have already been written about it.

But it so happens that the answer is actually simple and lies on the surface.

Our national idea is that we are Belarusians.

It is the same as in other nations.

Only, unlike many others, we cannot implement this idea of ours yet.

Neither in the sense of language, nor in the sense of independence, nor in the sense of freedom.

And that's why one simple idea crumbles into many answers about exactly what and where it can't be implemented yet.

— Why did the people wake up only in 2020?

Earlier, many were on strike, but it died down.

Do we have hope for change?

Can we change everything now?

- I usually mention the collapse of the USSR.

Before that, there probably wasn't a single person who would have hoped for this and connected his life plans with this disintegration.

But a multitude of people, each in his own place, brought this disintegration closer with small daily tasks.

Conclusion: do not bet on a miracle, do not associate your personal tomorrow with miraculous changes, but do small good deeds for yourself every day.

For example, start using Belarusian words.

Only then can everything change.

- Ales Bialiatski asked that the court hearing against him be in the Belarusian language.

The court refused because "we have two official languages".

Did the court have the right to refuse?

- I didn't have.

A state official is required to speak two state languages (they are also state languages).

Otherwise, the judge violates the law and the rights of the defendant, as Bialiatski stated - he did not fully understand what he was being accused of.

As for the citizen, this obligation does not extend to him.

He has the right to speak and understand only Belarusian or only Russian.

De-facto judges in Belarus do not speak the Belarusian language, sometimes an interpreter is invited to the court.

What Bialiatski also asked for.

But the judge refused even this.

— Why is Lukashenka increasing the presence of Russian troops in Belarus?

- He realized that the people have outgrown him and he has no real support among Belarusians, that his power is rapidly narrowing to the chair of the director of the state farm, from which he once started.

And in the state farm, "your" people are your main enemies and, if anything, you attract support from the outside - the police, the army, the Kremlin.

Russian officers who are now settled in Belarus openly say: how did you get the idea that we will go to Ukraine?

We have come to "appease" you.

And, by the way, if they do go to Ukraine, this time Ukraine will drive them back to Belarus.

For the director of the state farm, this will, of course, be the worst case scenario.

- How do you feel about the laborers who, during the war, carried out Belarusianization under the boot of Nazi Germany?

Are they our enemies or vice versa?

- The word "collaboration" in the GKL, as well as in Latin, where it came from, as well as in today's democratic world, is simply cooperation, and not "treason, cooperation with the enemy of one's homeland and people", as in Russian and Soviet propaganda.

But it is primarily not about words, but about deeds, whether good or criminal.

Belarusianization is always the national interest of Belarusians.

And it doesn't matter under which boot, Nazi or, say, Stalin's.

The one who carries out Belarusianization is an educator who makes his nation stronger and cannot be an enemy of his nation in any way.
