The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, suspended the citizenship of a number of priests of the so-called UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The corresponding decree No. 898/2022 was issued on December 28, 2022, but it was not officially made public, since the document contains personal information.

This is reported by LB.ua with reference to its own sources.

The presidential decree refers to the suspension of the citizenship of 13 representatives of the UOC.

Among them is Metropolitan Ionafan of Tulchyn and Bratslav, whom the SBU suspects of treason.
