On Saturday, January 6, the Russian flag disappeared from the main square of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region.

This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.

"And good news. In Mariupol, the Russian rag was removed from the main Freedom Square. Again," he said.

Andryushchenko suggested that it is the Mariupol resistance that congratulates Ukraine on Christmas and says that "the occupiers have something wrong with the city."
