The occupiers forced about three thousand workers of the temporarily seized 

Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant

to obtain Russian passports.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 7.

"The Russian invaders continue to put psychological and physical pressure on the civilian population of the temporarily occupied and occupied territories. In particular, in the city of Energodar in the Zaporizhia region, the Russian occupying forces forced about 3,000 workers of the Zaporizhia NPP to obtain so-called Russian passports," the message reads.

The occupiers took the Ukrainian hryvnia out of circulation in the city, threatening entrepreneurs with fines and seizure of property,

"The number of residential premises seized by the occupiers and abandoned by forced migrants has increased significantly," the report said.
