[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The hijab revolution in Iran that broke out due to the death of Mahsa Amini has not stopped to this day.

A foreign affairs spokesman of the European Union (EU) said today (7) that the EU was shocked after learning that Iran had executed two men who killed paramilitary members during demonstrations.

A spokesman for EU Foreign and Security Policy High Representative Josep Borrell said in a statement that "the EU is very concerned about the actions of Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini. Shocked to be arrested and sentenced to death in connection with the current protests in Iran."

At least 517 protesters have been killed and more than 19,200 arrested since the hijab revolution, according to human rights activists following the unrest in Iran.

Amnesty International said last month that the Iranian government intended to impose the death penalty on at least 26 people, and that the "bogus sentences" were aimed at intimidating people involved in the protests.

Amnesty International said the trials "have nothing in common with a meaningful judicial process" because Iranian courts do not allow those on trial to choose their own lawyers or even to see the evidence.
