On the sunspot a few days ago, the most powerful of the possible flares on the Sun, which belongs to class X, appeared. But this sunspot is moving across the surface of the Sun, and in the coming days, scientists predict the appearance of the same flare with a huge plasma emission.

But this time, this spot will be facing directly towards the Earth.

Live Science writes about it.

Scientists recall that a few days ago , a powerful eruption or coronal mass ejection took place

on the Sun

in a sunspot called AR3163, as a result of which a huge stream of plasma flew into space.

At the same time, scientists have found out that in recent days, flares of class C and M have also appeared in this hidden spot. All flares belong to five classes, each of which distinguishes the power of explosions on the Sun.

That is, each flash of class A, B, C, M and X is 10 times more powerful than its predecessor.
