On March 10 last year, the Executive Yuan passed four draft amendments to prevent sexual violence and sent them to the Legislative Yuan for review; the Judiciary and Legal Affairs Committee of the Legislative Yuan passed the preliminary review of the Criminal Law and the Criminal Victims Protection Law in May last year. The Legislative Yuan will pass the third reading of the partial amendment to the Criminal Law earlier, and add the crime of "obstructing sexual privacy and false sexual images" (Chapter 28-1). The third reading article stipulates that when the court approves the suspension of detention for the defendant who violates Chapter 28-1 of the Criminal Law, or violates Articles 304, 305, and 346 of the Criminal Law with sexual images, the court shall consider the balance between human rights protection and public interest For maintenance, if it is considered necessary, the defendant may be ordered to comply with certain matters within a certain period of time within 2 years according to the authority or the prosecutor's application.

Relevant matters include the prohibition of intimidation, harassment, and stalking of crime victims or their family members, and the prohibition of approaching their residences and workplaces without legitimate reasons; the prohibition of reproduction, distribution, broadcast, delivery, public display, or other legal Allowing people to view the victim’s sexual images; presenting or delivering the victim’s sexual images; removing or applying to Internet platform providers, Internet application service providers, or Internet access service providers to delete uploaded Victim images.

Violation of the above regulations without justifiable reasons shall be punished with fixed-term imprisonment of not more than 3 years, short-term detention or a fine of not more than NT$300,000.

Regarding the compensation for victims of crimes, the third reading of the article also stipulates that the compensation for survivors is NT$1.8 million, the compensation for serious injuries is NT$800,000 to NT$1.6 million, the compensation for sexual assault is NT$100,000 to NT$400,000, and the compensation for overseas is NT$200,000. ten thousand yuan.
