Turkey has informed Armenia that it has removed the restriction on direct cargo transportation by air.

APA reports with reference to "Sputnik Armenia" that Vaan Unanyan, head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia (MFA), said about this.

He reminded that the resumption of air cargo transportation was one of the agreements reached at the meeting of the special representatives of the two countries in July.

"We expect that the agreement on the crossing of the land borders of the two countries by the citizens of the third country will be implemented in the near future," said the Armenian MFA official.

Cargo transportation between Turkey and Armenia by air begins.

APA reports that "Habertürk" published information about this with reference to diplomatic sources.

It was reported that as a result of the meetings held between the special representatives of the two countries, it was noted that from January 1, 2023, direct air cargo transportation between Turkey and Armenia is possible.

Diplomatic sources stressed that this issue was announced by the Turkish Trade Ministry to the Turkish Exporters' Association.
