The first phase of the blue line is divided into the cultural center section and the Rende section. The route of the cultural center section is planned to start from the Taiwan Railway Bridge Station along Zhonghua Road in Yongkang District and East Zhonghua Road in the East District to the Cultural Center, and the Rende section runs from Dongmen Road to the east to Zhongshan Road in Rende District The Rende Transit Station is 8.39 kilometers long, and has 11 stations and 1 machine factory route. In the future, the first phase of the Blue Line can transfer to Tainan Railway Station through the Pingshih Transit Station and the Green Line, quickly connecting to the core area of ​​Fucheng.

The blue line extension line continues the first phase of the blue line at the Rende transfer station. The main line goes east along City Road 182 to Guiren and Guanmiao areas, and the branch line goes south on Taiwan 39 to Tainan High Speed ​​Rail Station and Shalun Green Energy Science City. There are 15 stations and 1 engine factory on the whole line, with a total length of 14.99 kilometers. In the future, the dark green line can be used to connect Shalun Green Energy Science City and Tainan Science Park, two major industrial engines, to strengthen the three core transportation links of Fucheng, Shalun, and Nanke To promote the development of surrounding areas.
