[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Ovidio Guzmán-López, the son of Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman (Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman), was arrested today, which immediately triggered serious tension between drug lords and the military and police conflict.

It was reported on the Internet that a military plane of the Mexican Air Force was hit by anti-aircraft fire from drug lords and had to make an emergency landing.

Some netizens on Twitter circulated that a C-295 transport plane of the Mexican Air Force was attacked by anti-aircraft guns used by members of the Naroya drug cartel while flying over Culiacán, the capital of Sinaloa.

Sinaloa is the area where Ovidio was arrested.

From the online video, it can be seen that a C-295 transport plane is continuously lowering its flight altitude, while in the background there are bursts of anti-aircraft gun fire and cheers from drug lord members.

Another video showed that the left engine of the transport plane caught fire after it made an emergency landing at the airport, and the airport fire truck immediately sprinkled water to save it.

According to the British National Broadcasting Corporation "BBC" report, Ovidio claimed to have inherited his father's drug empire.

Authorities successfully arrested him in Sinaloa after a six-month surveillance operation.

Culiacan also saw multiple shootings and carjackings following the armed forces raid.
