The United States of America

may transfer Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles with radar guidance to Ukraine in the next package of military aid.

They are designed to intercept aircraft or cruise missiles.

This was reported by Politico with reference to its own sources.

"For the first time, the package will include Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles with radar guidance, which can be launched from the sea or from land to intercept aircraft or cruise missiles," the statement said.

It is emphasized that the Ukrainian military managed to convert Soviet Buk launchers to use these American missiles.

By the way, until now Taiwan was the only country that used the ground version of these missiles.

Instead, the US Navy and several allied navies use a shipboard version.

Politico's sources say that the US and German agreement to transfer infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine paves the way for future deliveries of Abrams and Leopard tanks.

It will be recalled that after the decision of France to provide light tanks to Ukraine, Germany declared that it would also

"adapt the supply to the needs on the battlefield"

in Ukraine.

Also, after the conversation between US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, it became known that

Germany will transfer its Marder and Patriot to Ukraine.
