Chernivtsi craftsmen make portable beds for the military.

The structure can be quickly deployed in any conditions at the front and conveniently moved to positions, says TSN.

In several workshops, craftsmen are in a hurry to produce and send another batch of portable beds for our defenders.

Before the war, the team produced decorative structures.

When they started volunteering and driving with cargo to the front line, they were horrified in what conditions the soldiers had to spend the night.

"We saw boys sleeping there, that is, on boards, on pallets, on cardboard," says Mykhailo.

Then they made several test samples and sent them to comrades on the front lines.

At first, large-scale production was not planned, but when requests poured in from the fighters, they began to look for funds.

"My Norwegian friend says to me: "Misha, start it, it's a good idea, I'll help you with something.

And he donated the first 10 pieces.

Then other people appeared who said: "Let us pay you 5 pieces - do it."

Then again and again, we decided to continue working.

Such a bed can be laid out in a trench or dugout in a matter of seconds, it was designed according to the NATO model.

Instead of aluminum, they used wood, which is more available in the region.

"Hardwood tree.

We polish it, additionally process it with oil so that it can withstand external influences," say the craftsmen.

The design, they assure, is strong and reliable, can withstand up to five hundred kilograms.

Now the craftsmen plan to expand production, receive orders from volunteer organizations.

"People just write - we finally got some sleep.

We will try to send in larger batches, because there is a demand for them," adds Mykhailo.

More than three hundred beds are already serving our fighters in the hottest spots, and the same number will be sent in a few days.
