In a Carpathian village, caring people restored a house that was damaged during the last large-scale shelling by the Russians.

Then "Caliber" hit the window of a residential building in which people were staying, but did not explode.

It was not easy to neutralize the rocket, it contains almost half a ton of explosives in TNT equivalent, TSN reports.

The Kalyniuk family perceives this day as their second birthday.

When the "alarm" howled, a 3-year-old child was watching TV, and her mother was consulting nearby, when suddenly there was a never-before-heard rumble and a rocket flew into the corridor.

"We were in this room.

I go out, the wall is covered, there is no window.

And this is how it lies on the ground," the woman recalls.

"Caliber" flew straight through the window.

That the rocket did not explode is a miracle, say the pyrotechnicians who came to the call.

After all, it contained half a ton of explosives in TNT equivalent.

"The explosive wave would destroy everything in its path at least within a radius of 100 meters.

The combat unit was high-explosive fragmentation.

That is, there was such a shirt made of ready-made lethal elements", - explain the pyrotechnicians.

Eyewitnesses say that something went wrong with the rocket while still in the air.

It began to fall suddenly, and then crashed into a hill opposite Halyna's house and ricocheted.

"She bounced off the ground and into the house, through the window," people say.

Frightened villagers had no idea, say experts, that it happens.

"Probably, during the impact, some action took place with the internal mechanisms of the ammunition itself.

And thanks to this, it happened as it did," says the bomb technician.

It was not easy to safely remove "Caliber" from the house, the pyrotechnicians admit, they had no such experience.

In order not to expose the villagers to danger, everyone within a radius of 300 meters was evacuated.

The heavy equipment barely drove under the house over the hills and the wet field.

"The crane arrived and another big truck with sand arrived.

We talked among ourselves - it should be on a soft surface so that it does not break," says the neighbor.

The wall in which the rocket was stuck had to be dismantled.

"The rocket spread its wings in different directions, it seemed to stop.

The ammunition is modern, recently put into service with the aggressor's army, so we have, roughly speaking, a minimum of information.

And we have to work with that," pyrotechnicians say.

Having released the rocket, it was taken to a field, away from populated areas and infrastructure facilities, where it was buried to a depth of 5 meters and detonated.

The Kalyniuks themselves were immediately offered help.

The wall, which was hit by an enemy rocket, was rebuilt, and the window was replaced.

Now everything is plastered and they promise to install laminate to make it better than it was.

"The walls cracked from the impact, the hole is small, but we started to disassemble the brick - it is still moving.

We dismantled almost half of the wall in two directions to do it all," the builders say.

It took a week for everything, so Galina and her daughter celebrate Christmas in the whole house and pray every day for the guys who defend the Ukrainian sky from racist missiles, and the pyrotechnicians who neutralize the danger already on the ground.
