Western countries fear the disintegration of Russia in the event of its defeat in the war with Ukraine.

This was stated by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine,

Volodymyr Ogryzko

, in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

"The problem is that the West does not know what to do with Russia, which loses. Uncontrolled processes of its disintegration may begin.

Combined with the lack of understanding into whose hands nuclear weapons can fall, this deters our Western partners from giving we have everything we need to quickly deal with this horde

," the ex-minister explained.

According to him, "for some reason, the opinion prevails in the West that Russia is the way it is, this is a mistake."

"The question arises - why conditional Adygeans, Volga Tatars or Kalmyks do not have the same right to self-determination as the Spaniards, French, Portuguese, Poles or other peoples living in separate countries? Why do we think that Russia is something indivisible, since forever given? There live a lot of peoples who have been oppressed by Russia for many centuries, and who would like to get the desired independence a long time ago," said Ogryzko.

It will be recalled that the Russian publicist

Andriy Piontkovskyi

said that the collapse of the Russian Federation has already begun, and everything will continue according to inertia.

He believes that the main danger for Russia is to lose the Far East, for which China has plans.

Russian opposition journalist

Ihor Yakovenko

believes that the process of secession from the Russian Federation may begin first in Tatarstan, which supported independence and secession from Russia back in the 1990s.

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,

Kyrylo Budanov

, predicts that 3-5 new states may be formed on the territory of present-day Russia.
