Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder called the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle a "tank killer."

This is stated on the Pentagon's official website.

Ryder confirmed that the Bradley fighting vehicles will be part of the new US military aid package for Ukraine.

He explained that this technique will allow infantry to be safely transferred to the battlefield during defensive and offensive operations.

Explaining the difference between a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and a tank, Ryder noted that it is a "tank killer."

"This will significantly strengthen the already impressive combat potential of Ukraine. And we are sure that it will help them on the battlefield," said the Pentagon spokesman.

Pat Ryder also answered the question of whether Ukraine will ever receive an Abrams tank, noting that the US is exploring the possibility of providing various types of weapons that are needed on the battlefield.

It will be recalled that Politico reported that the USA and Germany will send infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

This is a decision that could pave the way for the West to give Ukraine what it really needs — Western tanks.

Also, after France's decision to provide light tanks to Ukraine, Germany said that it would also "adapt the supply to the needs on the battlefield" in Ukraine.
