Actor Suniel Shetty on Thursday urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to help eradicate hatred against the Hindi film industry and break the trend of boycotting Bollywood on social media.

Yogi Adityanath is on a two-day visit to Mumbai.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also mentioned

Yogi Adityanath met people from the film world including Sunil Shetty, Subhash Ghai, Jackie Shroff, Rajkumar Santoshi, Manmohan Shetty and Boney Kapoor during his visit to Mumbai.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of shooting and investment in Noida Film City.

During this, Shetty put forward the problem of the film world.

Sunil Shetty also requested the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to help get Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in removing the "spots" on Bollywood.

Akshay urges to see 'Ramsetu'

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 4 January.

The actor discussed the much-awaited Film City project in Uttar Pradesh during his meeting with the CM.

He also discussed his recent film 'Ramsetu' and urged the Chief Minister to watch it.

This meeting of Akshay Kumar and Yogi Adityanath lasted for 35 minutes.

There is a lot of enthusiasm in the film industry regarding Noida Film City



Akshay Kumar informed CM Yogi Adityanath that there is a lot of enthusiasm in the Indian film industry regarding the Film City project to be built in Uttar Pradesh.

The actor has told CM Adityanath that many big production houses, producers, directors and actors are waiting for the Film City to start and run in UP.

He has said that the development of a world-class film and infotainment city in Uttar Pradesh will provide a new option to people associated with the film business to make their projects.
