The US believes that Russia's war against Ukraine will not end in the coming months.

An important nuance of this is that the occupiers are constantly storming Bakhmut in order to break through to Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

Sky News writes about this with reference to a high-ranking US official.

The USA believes that Russia will continue to make attempts to occupy as much territory as possible in Ukraine and that what is happening in Bakhmut can be expected on other front lines as well.

"The fighting is still quite hot. What we are seeing in Bakhmut, we should expect in other parts of the front as well, that the fighting will continue in the coming months," the anonymous official said.

Russia's war against Ukraine

On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine.

On the same day, Dictator Putin announced the so-called "special military operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine."

Since then, the occupiers have been constantly storming Ukraine and launching rocket attacks on peaceful cities.

On January 5, the Kremlin dictator, in a conversation with the President of Turkey, Recep Erdogan, said that the Russian Federation is ready for negotiations with Ukraine on the condition that our state gives up its territories.
