The army of the Russian Federation shelled Nikopol in the

Dnipropetrovsk

region on the night of January 5 .

She attacked the city three times with "Grades" and heavy artillery.

This was announced by the head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Valentin Reznichenko.

According to him, the city suffered from enemy attacks both in the evening and at night.

At least 30 shells were directed at Nikopol.

As a result of the shelling, several buildings and commercial buildings, a social infrastructure object and power lines were damaged. 

"In other districts, the night passed under the sound of sirens, but without emergency situations. And for the moment it is calm," Reznichenko emphasized.

According to the head of the region, there were no casualties or injuries.

However, a 64-year-old man died in the hospital in the morning.

He was seriously wounded the day before during the shelling of Nikopol.

damaged in Sumy Oblast as a result of enemy shelling of border communities. 

During the day, the enemy made 55 strikes on Krasnopil, Shalygin, Bilopol, Znob-Novgorod, and Seredino-Bud communities.
